Commonly Asked Questions
About Veils |
The pictures below are pictures
of various lengths of Veils.
|
Question: What is the difference between 72" Wide, the 108" wide and the 54" wide veiling?
Answer: Out of the three widths we offer, the 108" wide veiling is wider and more full on top. It also comes around the bodice on the front more, covering the shoulders and arms. The more layers you add with this width, the less sheer it will be in the back and the more full it will be on top. A 72" wide veil is less full on top, and only comes around the shoulders minimally. This width is a nice compromise for those brides that want less fullness on top, but still would like some material on the shoulders and arms. The 54" wide veil stays mainly behind the shoulders, is the most sheer of all the widths. This is a nice option for those brides with detail on the back of their dress. It also has minimal fullness on the top, so won't provide the "poof" at the comb that the larger widths tend to provide. We have found that the veils are equally popular and it depends on each customers preference. These pictures show you the same veil in the 3 different widths.

| Question: What
is the difference between White, Shimmer White, Diamond White, Shimmer
Diamond White, Ivory, and Shimmer Ivory?
White: Is by far
the most popular and common bridal color. It is the color that most
wedding dresses come in. If your wedding dress is plain white, this
is the color you should order your veil in.
Ivory: Ivory is a very popular veil color. Our ivory is a very light
ivory and goes best with ivory
wedding dresses. Please remember there are many different colors
of ivory, and many different types of material used in wedding attire
that will make it look different and it is not always possible to
get an exact ivory match with the wedding dress and wedding headpiece.
Just try to match as close as you can.
Diamond White: Is a very
close in color to plain white. It is also called "Silk White"
or "Off White". Diamond White is a shade between the colors
white and ivory. It is recommended you only wear this color of veil
with an "off white" wedding dress.
Shimmer Colors: Shimmer
veils made in white, ivory or diamond are the same colors as described
above, except they have a distinctive shine to them and are more
noticeable when they are under lighting.
Color Chart: Please look a the color chart below to
get an idea of how each color described above looks, plus many other colors. Please remember
the colors you see on your computer monitor can vary a little bit
from how the colors may look on other computer monitors. Quality
of monitor, your screen resolution and other factors can all show
you a little different variation of the same color(s). |
