Tiara and your face

The tiara, the veil and different headpieces used to decorate and adorn the bride’s hair and contribute largely in transforming her appearance. They will make the bride appear like a princess. So select such tiaras and headpieces that will attract every body’s attention towards you and not away from you.

Your face type is very important factor to be taken into consideration while selecting the tiara for your hairs. You may have long, spherical or oval face. So select the tiara that will suit and compliment your face.

If you have a long face, then it would be better to go along with a low and a flat tiara or a headband. This is so because a pointed or a high tiara will make your face appear even longer. If your face is round, then almost any type of tiara will suit you. But even then, if you select a tiara that rises to a point in the center will be more complimentary and make your appear elegant. If you have a petite face, then you have to be very careful in selecting your tiara.

Choose a large tiara that will make your face appear a bit longer and overwhelm you. This tiara should be worn in such a way that it should make your face attractive by framing it, and not distract attention away from it.

Tips for selecting your wedding gown

Shopping for wedding gowns can be an exciting venture, but often this experience cab turn out to be stressful. Use some of these simple tips for selecting your wedding gown;

Selecting the perfect wedding gown starts with proportion. A dress may look beautiful on a mannequin displayed in the shop window, but it may not necessarily look good on you if the linings are incorrect for your proportion. A number of designer wedding gowns are available to camouflage your less than perfect features.

If you have large hips, you can hide it by selecting an A-line gown. This will add height as well as decrease the width making you appear tall and slim. Another choice would be to select a hollow waist gown that starts an inch below the waist. This will camouflage your heavy parts. If you have thick waists, use full-sized gown and be sure to wear it below your thickest parts.

You can conceal your excess weight wearing a full skirt. But it is advisable to keep away from the styles that are narrow and straight. The same is applicable if you have large buttocks. In such cases, you should draw the attention away from your flaws and focus on a beautiful neckline instead.

Formal and informal wedding gowns are available in ivory, champagne, blush, diamond pink, white colors, etc along with the traditional white colors. It is always better to select these softer hues that flatter your complexion.
