When attending a wedding ceremony decorated with vibrant flowers and after looking at the bridal bouquet, has it ever striked to your mind that how the color combination of the flowers is managed rightly. Selecting the right kind of flowers for your wedding can be a very hectic and confusing job. With such a wide variety of flowers to choose from, selecting the ideal ones for your wedding needs proper planning and perspective of colors. The color combination of the flowers, done using complimentary colors is the best method for choosing colors for your wedding bouquet. Complimentary colors are colors opposite to each other, but as the name suggests, they compliment each other and work along well. Usually there is a color wheel which shown all the complimentary colors, which is sure to be available at every wedding florist. For example, the complementary colors are red and green, yellow and purple etc.
Considering the color of your wedding dress while choosing colors for your wedding bouquet will also prove to be of great help. Also, consider the bridesmaid’s dresses. Like if wearing a white dress, then a white bouquet will only look good if it stands out, otherwise it is not easily visible. Therefore, to highlight the bouquet using green color foliage with colored ribbons is best option, so that there is a distinction between the wedding dress and the bouquet.
The colors also largely depend on the type of flowers you choose. Usually, finding the right color in fresh flowers can be bit difficult and also expensive. Also, ensure that the color of the fresh flowers you choose is available in your wedding season. As compared to fresh flowers, silk flowers have fewer limitations.
