Mantilla veils
There are different types of veils available nowadays and you can have a wide choice from various attractive colors, lengths and types of veils. Birdcage veil, blusher veil, tier veil and mantilla veil are the popular styles of veils. The mantilla veil is one of the popular styles of veils.
The mantilla veils are originally made in Spain. Today, use of mantilla veils is seen in Catholic and other weddings. There are three types of mantilla such as handmade Blonda lace mantillas, Chantilly lace mantillas and lace-embroidered tulle mantillas. In handmade Blonda lace mantillas, the designs are made from two types of silk such as a thicker thread to add the color, depth and more details and a thin thread for detailing. This type of veil is generally floral-themed veils.
The Chantilly lace mantillas are heavily embroidered with floral, fruit or vegetable designs. They are named after the town located in France where this lace was originated. Lace-embroidered tulle mantillas contain the designs that reflect the Blonda lace and Chantilly lace.
The mantilla wedding veils are made from a non-gathered, single round or oval layer which should be draped over the head. You can attach the veil to the hair using a small comb. The mantilla veil appears sleek and sophisticated without any pouf or headpiece that can interrupt the profile. Some modern mantilla veils feature a wide lace edge, while some are full lace with a scalloped or other edging. The mantilla veil is worn in such a way that the lace edges softly frame your face.
