Wedding dress and headpieces
The headpieces worn by the bride adds a royal look and makes her feel something special. But, you should also be aware of the fact that there are certain rules while selecting the headpieces for your wedding day. You have to make the selection according to the type of wedding dress. It is very important that the wedding dress and the wedding headpieces go well with one another or else it may hamper ones appearance.
The veil that you select for your wedding day should be of a lighter shade than your dress, if the wedding dresses in darker and vice versa. If you have an ivory gown, then the diamond white colored veil would be the best choice. You can also opt for the ivory veils that are light-colored ones. Avoid using dark-colored ivory veils. They do not appear good and seems a bit fussy.
If your wedding dress is a plain dress, then there are many choices available for you to select your headpieces. Generally, if there is no floral design on the dress, then a simple headpiece with geometric designs is recommended. You can also prefer a small headpiece for such dresses like a headband style.
Sometimes, it may be very difficult to match your veils with the wedding dress. There are also different shades available in the ivory and the off-white colors. So, in such cases, where you find color variation between the veil and the dress, it is always better to prefer a lighter colored veil that usually goes well with all types and colors of dresses.
