A veil and a tiara have become one of the most essential wedding accessories. The bridal veil offers modesty to the bride, while tiara gives a glamorous look to the bride. You should select the veil and tiara very carefully that should match to your wedding gown and wedding theme. Once you have chosen the veil and tiara, you must be thinking about how to wear a veil and tiara.
How to wear a veil and tiara is not a big problem at all. Once, you understand the technique, you can easily do it within a short time. Many wedding veils come with attached comb. You may start with holding the comb upside down, with the concave side upward. Both the layers of tulle are pulled backward. The blusher layer is at the top. Now, rotate the comb forward, keep the concave side of the comb downward, and slide it into the hair.
Once you have fixed the veil in the hair, then it is the time to place the tiara. Slide the tiara on at 45-degree angle. Adjust the tiara in such a way that there will be no gap between the veil and the tiara. You can gently bend the tiara band in order to fit the shape of your head. If the tiara has thin metal fingers, you can also adjust them for more secure and comfortable fit. Remember that the combs do not bend; only the tiara or headpiece will bend. You may also secure the tiara using the bobby pins through the pin loops to hold the tiara at proper place. Now, cover the ends of exposed bands with hair.
If you are wearing the veil and wearing your hair down, slant the tiara in a proper way for the best effect. Do not perch it on the top of your head, as it will not give a bride’s look. If you are wearing the veil at the top of the head, then it should be connected to the base of the tiara. You can also sew the veil onto the tiara using the invisible threads.
