Bridal veil lengths
The veil is a small covering on the bride’s face. It is a beautiful covering that is nowadays available in different lengths and embellishments. It is used as a decorative accessory, as well.
Determining the length of the veil solely depends on the bride’s taste and preferences. She may consider a small length veil, a medium one or a long veil. Lets us have a look on the different types of veil lengths.
The blusher veil- it is a short, shoulder length veil worn over the face during the formal and semi-formal weddings. These veils are not longer than 34 inches.
The elbow length veil- this veil passes down the bride’s elbow when she extends her arms. It goes well with a short gown having no train. Generally, it is used to accent the detailing on the bride’s waist. This type of veil also best compliments a dress with full skirt. Wear it below the lower back, but a bit above the starting of the skirt.
Finger tip veil length- this type of veil can be worn with any bridal dress longer than the tea length. The finger tip veils usually look best for those brides who height is above 5.4”.
Cathedral veil length- this veil can be worn only with the cathedral length gown having a train. It creates a very romantic look when the veil floats on the ground 6-7 inches past the train.
Two-tiered veils- it suits all people as they are fuller and offers a proper framing to your face on both the sides.
These were the different bridal veil lengths. And a proper selection considering your wedding gown as well as your likes, as it is wholly and solely your day. Do what you like to do and complete your dreams on this day.
