Nowadays the brides are trying to add their distinct stamp to her wedding day. In the olden days, the purpose of veiling was to protect the bride form the evil spirits and symbolize modesty, youth and virginity. But, it has become a fashion. It reflects the style and personality of the bride.

To veil or not to veil on your wedding day is completely an issue that needs to be decided by the bride. The bride if at all decides to wear a veil, and then she should be aware of the fact that the length of the veil sets the tone of the wedding. A cathedral veil is the ideal choice for more formal weddings; whereas the semi formal weddings demands for a simple mid-length veil.

The blusher veils are used to cover the bride’s face, initially to hide her from the groom till they were pronounced as husband and wife. Blushers come in various veil lengths. You can go for a short and simple one to gain a modern look. The full length blushers offer a more traditional look to the bride.

If at all the bride decides not to wear the wedding veil, then she should consider a gown of a cathedral length that floats some distance away from train of the gown. It should be made form sheer organza that adds a soft elegance to the back of the gown. The gown should have elaborate designs to signify the bride for the others.
