Basic tips while using veils
There is a wide variety available in the type of veils in the market. You have to be very keen at the time of selection. Select a veil considering some factors like length of your hair, the hair style you will be using on the wedding day, etc. the veil that you use has a great effect on your hairstyles. Before selecting it, see that it is comfortable for your hair and you are able to turn your head, bend, and dance without the veil falling off.
Except Mantilla wedding veils, the other type of wedding veils is generally attached to the headpieces. Veils are usually made of a nylon material known as illusion. Your hair is set around the headpiece. If you have fine and straight hair, then it is better to use fine combs on your headpiece. Or you can also select a headpiece that can be secured easily onto your hair.
If your hair are thin, you should prefer sewn in extensions and the hairpieces for extra body. Thus, you can attach he headpiece to it for a better feel. Wavy and curly hairs ask to use the bobby pins, tooth combs, barrettes, etc. Consider a bigger headpiece for the thick hairs so that it will not get lost in the hairs. These are some of the basic proportions to be kept in mind while selecting the veils for your hairs.
You can also attach flowers to your veils. If you are wearing both the flowers and the veils, then first attach the veil and the headpiece to your head and then put on the flowers.
