Bridal jewelry that you select for your wedding day should suit the entire wedding attire but not ruin your look. Consider your dress style and the hair style while choosing your bridal jewelry. For e.g.: if you have long hair that you plan to leave it flowing freely, then you should go with small stud earrings. If you pull your hairs upwards away from your face, then long earrings would be the ideal choice. Avoid wearing wide earrings if your face is square, but wider earrings are a good choice for a narrow and angular face.

If you are planning to wear a headpiece like a tiara or a head band, etc then the earrings and the necklaces should go along well with it. They should co-ordinate these jewelry pieces. For e.g. a pearl necklace and earrings will be complimented well along with the headpiece having pearl accents.

While choosing necklace, focus on the type of the gown and its neckline. A V-neck enjoys a drop necklace; high necklines won’t require any necklace, as such. If your neckline is off the shoulders, then a small or a choker necklace will complement it. If your gown is elaborate, then you need sophisticated jewelry to accent it; whereas a simple gown with a few accents will be complimented by simple bridal jewelries.

White dresses go well with pearls. If your dress is off-white, then select white or yellow gold. The color of the dress also determines the selection of the bridal jewelry.
