Veil color and veil lengths
The color and length of the veil are the most important factors to be considered while selecting a veil. A white satin wedding dress goes well with a while colored veil; whereas a white silk wedding dress goes best with a diamond white veil. Diamond white color looks whiter against a gown of ivory light color. So, it is better to use an ivory veil with a light ivory-colored gown. If you have a gown with a dark ivory tone, you should go for a veil that is dark ivory in color. Dark ivory is a very popular color of the wedding dresses. So you can sue a light colored ivory veil with it to complement the dark color of the dress.
You have to be very selective and keen while choosing the length of the bridal veils, too. If your wedding gown is plain and simple without a train, then it is recommended to use the elbow length veil. The shoulder length veils are the best choices for the formal or informal weddings.
If your wedding gown has a train, then you have to opt for the finger tip and the chapel length veils that would be an elegant choice to focus the train of your dress. This is a style to be used for the formal weddings. If you select a wedding gown having a chapel length train, then you cannot deny moving away from the chapel length veil. This would be the only best choice for it.
Similarly, for gowns with a cathedral length train, the cathedral length veil would be an ideal choice
