Choose a tiara according to the shape of your face
A tiara is referred as the princess of headpieces that gives you the most impressive effect. They add a fantastic accent to any type of wedding gown be it a simple sheath styled one or a ball gown style. You can wear a tiara with or without a veil that is usually decorated with crystals, pearls and rhinestones.
It is important to choose a tiara depending on the shape of your face. The tiara that you wear should draw the attention of others towards your face and not draw attention away from it. A wrong-shaped tiara can make your face appear very long or thin or very short and full. So it is important to select the tiara properly.
For a round face, to make it appear a bit longer, a tiara with some height or the one that has a peak is generally recommended.
For those with a long face, tiaras with a very little or no height is suggested. This will extend above the head from either of the sides up to an uneven height.
Brides with oval face should avoid the tiaras with a peak at the top. This is so because tiaras wit a peak will make the face appear even longer. It is recommended to wear a forehead piece, hair band or a back piece. This will help in making your face appear less oval.
For those with a full face, wearing a tiara that makes a āVā at the top is well suited. This creates an illusion of a longer face.
