Types of bridal bouquets
There is a wide variety of wedding flowers available in the market. The bride needs to carefully choose from this variety and make a bridal bouquet of her choice that will perfectly compliment her wedding gown and the wedding theme. Similar to the wedding flowers, there are also different types of bridal bouquets available in market. A bride needs to select the ideal bridal bouquet considering various factors like her wedding dress and also her body shape to make sure that the wedding bouquet enhances her beauty on the big day.
The common types of bridal bouquets are the cascade bouquet, round cluster bouquet and the hand-tied or the loose-tied bouquet. Amongst all, the cascade bouquet carries a traditional feel and is formal and slimming in its appearance. As the name suggests, the cascade bouquet, consists of trail of flowers at the end. In a cascade bouquet, the flowers are blended with greenery, with loosely held flowers at the end, which fall downwards in front of the bride’s gown. This type of bouquet is suitable for the wedding dresses that are longer in length. The flowers used are white roses, lilies, stephanotis etc.
The round cluster bouquet, also known as the nosegay, is smaller and round in shape made by using bundle of flowers, which is tightly held together with greenery surrounding the flowers. The flowers that are used in this wedding bouquet, are all very fragrant like the roses, asters etc. This bouquet is not ideal for the taller brides as well as for those who are wider in their middle part.
The hand-tied or loose-tied bouquets are very informal in their appearance and gaining popularity. Usually spring flowers are tied with ribbon or lace. This type of bouquet looks very simple but sweet and the flowers include roses, scabiosa etc.
